3.0 Announcements
The Commission welcomed Arnicia Dynes, new Commissioner,
appointed by Neil Coonerty, representing the third district. She announced that her goal is education on
mental health issues. She has been on
the Anti-stigma Committee and the County Mental Health advisory group. She is concerned that young adults’ mental
health needs are particularly overlooked because the focus is often on small
children and older adults.

5.0 Additions/Deletions
6.0 Oral Communications
John Daugherty was able to attend the Transit Hearing last
week and reported that although there are proposed cuts in service as a result
of the Governor’ budget, the Transit Association is suing the State for taking
funding earmarked for transportation.
The hearing elicited a roster of unmet needs, including lack of services
to senior complexes and housing where there are PWDs. Also, parts of Felton and Lompico have no service in the
summer. This is the first year that
there was bus service to the County Fair.
